Creative Art & Travel Photography
My earliest memories of photography involve me holding the flash for my father while he photographed my older sisters. Ten years later, his old Kodak Retina IIIc became mine when I enrolled in my first photography class in high school.
I was hooked, and my life forever changed. I accidentally became a professional photographer at the age of 19, when I went to work for a San Diego portrait studio while studying journalism at San Diego State University. I came to love being able to combine words and photographs to tell powerful and beautiful stories. Since that time my camera and I have taken advantage of every opportunity to travel and photograph people, places and things everywhere I can.
I’ve upgraded that old Retina IIIc a few times, though I still own it, and now photograph with Canon cameras. I currently live in Colorado where I spend as much time as possible exploring and photographing the beautiful Centennial State.
